Some people do this, to manage money or keep themselves accountable. Let us know if you would like to do this.

There is no difference paying in bulk, because it disadvantages those who cannot choose this option.

Whichever bulk option you choose i.e. a bulk pay as you go, it will not affect the standard of support you receive.

Pro-Bono (Free) Sessions

Free sessions are available at my discretion. These are typically offered as a bridge to further support or based on specific immediate needs, but I have previously given trauma support and delivered group mindfulness courses to specific groups who struggle to access standard services, Please contact me directly to discuss this option.

Why is there a sliding scale fee structure?

Accessing Support

I believe that high-quality, one-to-one therapy should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. My fee structure is designed to be inclusive, offering different entry points for those who might otherwise find private healthcare out of reach.

The 'Sustainer' Model

My standard fee is aligned with current rates for registered healthcare professionals. By opting for this rate if you are able, you directly help sustain the sliding scale, allowing me to hold dedicated spaces for those in our community with limited means.

A Foundation of Trust

The sliding scale operates on a good faith basis - I trust you to choose the tier that honestly reflects your current reality. If you are unsure which category applies to you, or if you would like to discuss potential external funding opportunities for specific communities, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Can I change the length of session, and does that impact the fee?

You certainly can — I offer reduced sessions, usually around half the standard length, for those who are pacing their energy or managing a condition. I also offer extended sessions, often for neurodiverse clients who find longer sessions beneficial. Fees are adjusted pro-rata. This can be agreed in advance so we can all plan and prepare, please feel free to discuss.

What if my income changes?

We often do not talk about money, and I encourage you to have these discussions. You can move down, and up, as your income needs vary if this helps you sustain access to therapy.

Can I apply for funding?

People from some groups may be able to apply for funding, or access support via other means, such as parents of those with seriously ill children, those within the Armed Forces Community, those who have not been able to access traditional Talking Therapies due to complexity of conditions (this can vary dependent on ICB - Integrated Care Board area) . Please contact for further guidance and signposting, we will do our best to try and support within our means.

Areas of Work

I've dedicated my work to supporting individuals through some of life's most complex transitions. My experience is not just academic; it's built on a deep understanding of what it takes to navigate change and find stability.
